Went here a couple weeks ago. Before that, I hadn't been in awhile but looks like service took a turn for the worse. If you go and it is your first time, don't expect carts rushing around with your favorite dim sum item. You will either need to speak Mandarin, Cantonese or accurately describe the dish that you're looking for. Some of the food was just lukewarm and others when I ordered straight from the waiter/waitress came out hot. Even on a Sunday, the place wasn't packed like the other dim sum places around town. On the flip side of things, this is the best tasting dim sum so far. I should be back soon and maybe things will be better...?

Solid dim sum and service. It's not the nicest place, but sit down and trust that you'll get what you need. I came here because I knew they had actual carts. But I came on a Monday during lunch hour, and there were only a few tables and a couple carts. Uh oh, had the food been sitting for a long time? Nope. It was all fresh. And when they didn't have something I asked for, they put the order straight through to the kitchen. They're also very nice here. You know how aggressive and impatient some other dim sum places can be. Not here. They'll show you everything they've got, without being too pushy. And then they'll follow it up with the picture menu of the other items you may not have seen. They also speak English pretty well here, which makes for an easy, unintimidating experience.Oh, and when they brought out my taro puffs they really made sure to tell me how hot it was so I wouldn't burn myself. Someone from the kitchen came to reiterate. It was endearing. Though, I have to say these were fried a bit over. This was my first Denver dim sum stop, so I'm excited to check out some other places. I have a feeling I'll return to King's Land, however.

We put 4 stars because we enjoyed our experience there. We normally go to Star Kitchen but decided to check out Kings lands Dim sum, there food was good there but most of all the service was awesome. The people that worked there were so nice and attentive. There were few times I got yelled at at star kitchen for asking a simple question and now I am now a fan of Kings Land. Thanks for the nice service

Terrible service, rude people who I believe treated me in an openly hostile way. The only reason I can think of is that I am not Chinese.

It's been awhile since I've had dim sum at King's Land since my last trip a couple of years ago was disappointing. However, I didn't feel like waiting in line at Star Kitchen and Super Star Asian was pretty gross on my last visit so we decided to come to King's Land. The service here has improved greatly. As soon as you are seated, they are at your table with dim sum offerings, getting drink orders, and making sure you have everything you need all while being really nice. Quite a change! Since this place is so large, there's no waiting to get a table. Awesome when you're starving and suffering from a hangover! The dim sum was good, but they don't offer as much variety as they used to. It's pretty tasty and served hot. The chili oil here is my favorite. King's Land is the only place that has hot chili oil that will cause my face to sweat. Another favorite food here is the salt & pepper shrimp. They remove the shrimp heads for you so you don't have food that's looking back at you. Can't argue with that. It's also full of delicious garlicky goodness.Keep up the good work King's Land!

So, we walk in and the place is empty. More importantly, this place could seat, like, 200 people? I don't even know how to really estimate, but it was WAY bigger inside than it appears to be outside. It was empty, but we took a seat. A waiter came over (he had the air of an owner), and we asked if they had dim sum, which is why we came in. He said that they really didn't have much, but if we told him what we wanted off of the dim sum menu, he'd see what he could get the kitchen to make. This basically included all steamed and fried dumplings, and we were glad they were willing to make them for us at dinnertime, which is not usual for them, apparently.OK, so here's where I start gushing about the food.First, my boyfriend and I LOVE dim sum. We've been going to Empress, but, honestly, the food is so hit or miss there, and is more miss than hit. Often very, very greasy. I don't know what we'll be going back there anymore, after having tried this place. So, my boyfriend steers vegetarian, and he had the fried taro, sesame balls and the vegetarian egg rolls. I had the steamed shrimp and mushroom dumpings and the Shanghai steamed dumplings (pork). Oh, and a cup of hot and sour soup. The soup was awesome - nice and peppery, which is how I like it. There were a few chunks of fat on the pork in it, but whatever. I cut it out. The broth was delicious. My boyfriend's egg rolls were perfect. PERFECT. They weren't all greasy and they were cooked to the perfect crispness without being overdone. And, the veggies inside were quite tasty. His taro cake was awesome, and that's coming from someone who doesn't even like taro cake. Nice and crispy on the outside, not very greasy, and big chunks of taro inside. My Shanghai dumplings were probably my least favorite, but still pretty good. The pork seemed a little fatty inside, and I had to cut through it.But, the stand out, for me, were the shrimp and mushroom dumplings. I love shrimp dumplings, but most of the shrimp dumplings I get are just...salty and shrimpy. And, little else. These were wonderful - plenty of shrimp, but the mushrooms added a really earthy, warm flavor and the shrimp, itself, wasn't "shrimpy", if you know what I mean. We're definitely going to head back for lunch, when all of the dim sum is available.

A friend asked us to meet them here. What a great experience. The second you sit down the food is at your table, in a traditional Dim Sum serving style,Mitch all kinds of prepared but fresh food in tins ready for you.You select, and it is wonderful.Like eating in a giant room with little atmosphere and fabulous food.Go. Enjoy.Choose 6 or 7 selections with your friends and experiment.we were not in the least disappointed with any selection.Just great. Then take leftovers home and sear them in a pan to reheat them. That was dinner tonight. This may now be my favorite Chinese restaurant, and it replaces the old Lotus Room from years ago for character and taste.

We use to go here, due to lack of other options. The food wasn't spectacular nor especially deplorable so it's just OK. The prices may have been not worth the OK quality though.

Dim sum where you can literally taste the low quality. Star Kitchen is a better bet. Dim sum here is full of msg and anti-flavor and makes you feel bad after eating it. It does have a nicer atmosphere than open table dump of Star Kitchen.
